Basildon Jewellers, welcome to my website, Bespoke Jewellery and Watch Repairs. Here’s a little insight into my journey.
First and foremost, I’m a wife, mother, and stepmum to four wonderful, energetic children who keep me on my toes. Despite the busy demands of family life, my commitment to my work remains unwavering. Over the years, I have built a successful independent jewellery service, which seamlessly complements my role in our family-run jewellery workshop, where I manage and care for our loyal clients.
Jewellery is truly in my blood—I was born into this trade. My father, a skilled jeweller, learned his craft in London, eventually leading a Rolex watch case and bracelet workshop in Hatton Garden, along with other ventures. Furthermore, he later took the bold step of opening his own business and workshop, securing contracts with major high street jewellers while continuing to work for Rolex, Ebel, and shops in Hatton Garden and Birmingham’s jewellery quarter.
I officially joined the family business in 1986, alongside my brother, after we both finished school. Our father mentored us, diligently passing on the expertise that has shaped us into the skilled professionals we are today. Notably, my father and brother still work side by side in our workshop and will be the ones serving you.
That’s just a glimpse into my story. With my extensive knowledge, combined with the expertise of our dedicated jewellers, watchmakers, and polishers, I offer a personal, comprehensive service. Indeed, every aspect of the jewellery trade is at my fingertips, ensuring you receive the highest level of care and craftsmanship.
My business is based in Basildon, operating from my home. Consequently, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with me for a personal, face-to-face jewellery consultation. This setup not only helps keep my overheads low but also reflects in my competitive pricing. My mission is to offer you a Platinum-level jewellery service. With over 30 years of experience in the trade, I specialise in handmade jewellery.
One of my favourite aspects of the jewellery business is transforming sentimental pieces into something entirely new, as well as designing bespoke creations. This is truly my passion. Using my vision, along with CAD (computer-aided design) and the expertise of our jewellers, I bring new designs to life. As a highly skilled artisan, I take great pride in every piece we create. Furthermore, I’m a perfectionist who is committed to delivering top-quality jewellery to each and every one of my clients.
